SEASON 21 VIRTUAL
January 1, 2021
Dear Friends,
It's a new year and we hope this one shines a bit brighter than the last one.
When I last wrote, we were still hoping we might return to producing theatre this spring. It is now clear that will not happen - at least not in any traditional sense. While we intend to find creative ways to continue to bring you virtual programming (stay tuned!) and maybe even some outside performance options, due to safety concerns, we are not aiming to return to fully staged theatre in our space until the fall of this year.
We promise to let you know as soon as our plans are finalized, but we don't want to make any promises we can't keep, so we're not going to rush into anything prematurely.
Until them, please continue to stay safe. The end is in sight. And if there’s any way you can make a donation to GBSC (or consider turning your ticket credit into a donation) to help keep professional theatre alive in your region, please do. This past year has presented organizations like ours with unprecedented financial challenges that will affect us for years to come.
We can’t wait to see you back at the Theatre to share stories and experiences together as soon as it is safe.
