By Heidi Schreck
Directed by A. Nora Long
As a teenager, Heidi Schreck traveled across America, earning her college tuition by competing in constitutional debate competitions. Now, as an Obie Award-winning playwright, she examines the Constitution’s impact on four generations of women in her family. What the Constitution Means to Me offers a deeply personal and thought-provoking exploration of our nation’s most debated document and how it could evolve to address modern issues. A Pulitzer Prize finalist, this “electrifyingly topical and eye-opening” (The New York Times) play is one of America’s most beloved and relevant works—more urgent than ever before.
