Students Grades 3-6

Join us for four days of creativity, teamwork, and fun, as students tackle all aspects of the show—learning choreography, songs, and character development. The final performance will be a splash with audience members of all ages! 

The Addams Family: Younger@Part 

(Feb 17-Feb 20, 2026)

Get ready for the ultimate theatrical adventure! In just “72 hours” of rehearsal, students in Grades 3-6  will come together to create and perform a 30-minute adaptation of the hit musical The Addams Family: Younger@Part. Filled with humor, heart,and a little bit of the macabre, this family-friendly version introduces audiences to everyone’s favorite kooky characters.

Over the course of four fast-paced days, students will jump into rehearsals as they build characters, learn choreography, and master the music, all while working collaboratively as an ensemble. The story follows Wednesday Addams as she falls in love and brings her “normal” boyfriend and his family into the wonderfully different world of the Addams household, leading to plenty of surprises, laughs, and heartfelt moments. 

Whether new to musical theatre or a seasoned pro, this exciting, high-energy challenge provides every student with the opportunity to shine in a fun, supportive environment. Join us for a whirlwind of music, movement, and mischievous fun as these young performers bring The Addams Family: Younger@Part to life in just a few days!

This program runs Tuesday-Friday of February break (Feb. 17th – Feb. 20th), 8:30a-2:30p. The final performance will be at 2:30p on Friday, February 20th in our large rehearsal room.

All registered students are guaranteed a role in the production.

Shrek The Musical KIDS

(April 21-April 24, 2026)

Get ready for a swamp-tastic theatrical adventure with Shrek The Musical KIDS! In just “72 hours” of rehearsal, students in Grades 3–6 will bring this hilarious, heartwarming musical to life in a fast-paced, collaborative challenge. This 30-minute adaptation of the Broadway hit is specially designed for young performers, making it an exciting and accessible experience for all.

When a grumpy ogre named Shrek finds his quiet swamp overrun by banished fairytale creatures, he sets off on an unexpected journey to reclaim his home. Along the way, Shrek teams up with a talkative Donkey, rescues the feisty Princess Fiona, and discovers that true friendship – and true beauty – come from embracing who you are. Packed with catchy songs, larger-than-life characters, and energetic choreography, this feel-good musical celebrates individuality, kindness, and confidence.

Join us for four days of creativity, teamwork, and laughter as students dive into every aspect of the show—learning songs, choreography, and character while working together as an ensemble. The final performance of Shrek The Musical KIDS is sure to delight audiences of all ages with its humor, heart, and happily-ever-after.

72-Hour Musical Production Assistants (students grades 7-12)

Love theatre but prefer working behind the scenes? Want experience working with younger actors? Need something fun to do over your school vacation? Students in grades 7-12 are invited to apply for our 72-Hour Musical Production Assistant program and be part of the magic that makes the show happen!

In this fast-paced, four-day theatrical challenge, student volunteers will work alongside teaching artists and younger performers as a:

  • Classroom assistant, supporting younger students during rehearsals, games, and transitions
  • Props and scenic designer, sourcing, creating, and managing the detail that bring the story to life
  • Backstage hand, helping to keep the wings organized and the show moving forward!

     

This is a real leadership opportunity where you’ll build confidence, responsibility, and teamwork skills—all while gaining valuable theatre experience you can add to resumes, applications, or community service hours.
