The Young Company is Greater Boston Stage Company’s year-round theatre education program for students in grades 1–12, offering artistic training and performance opportunities in a professional setting.

Winter Festival 2025

ALICE IN WONDERLAND JR., DISNEY'S DESCENDANTS and HADESTOWN: TEEN EDITION - February 6 - 9

Three productions and performances from our talented students in grades 4 – 12.

72-Hour Musical Vacation

CATS: YOUNG ACTORS EDITION - February 18 - 21
THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL - April 22 - 25

Create and perform a musical in just three days during school vacation week. For grades 4 – 6.

Voice Lessons

Winter Session Begins - February 24

Individual training to help students unlock their vocal potential. Lessons available for grade 1 – adult.

Carrie’s Chorus

Six Week Session - February 28 - April 4

An inclusive vocal ensemble for singers of all experience levels. Grades 3 – 8.

Spring Classes

Acting classes for all skill levels for grades 1 – 12.

24-Hour Musical

SHREK THE MUSICAL JR. - May 23 - 24

A one-day theatre challenge to put on a show! For grades 7 – 12.

Broadway Bootcamp

June 23 - 26

A high-energy week of professional level acting, singing, and dancing. For grades 4 – 12, ’25 high school graduates.

Summer Festival

CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG, BYE BYE BIRDIE and LEGALLY BLONDE, THE MUSICAL - July 7 - August 10

Our flagship summer program with productions, workshops, and more for students grades 4–12 and recent 2025 grads. 

Extended Day

July 7 - August 1

Evening activities like movie nights, game nights, and special events to extend the fun. Available for grades 1 – 6.

The Young Company provides a safe, welcoming space for all students, including neurodiverse and atypical learners. Families are encouraged to share any special needs or concerns to help us ensure the best experience for every participant.
